Who is Steve Zediker?
A Very good Question and one that I am still trying to answer for myself. Like most
of my generation, we can no longer be defined by a single occupation. For those of
us in"the arts", especially in Montana, diversity is the key to survival. Who I am and
what I do often depends on the time of day, season and whether the fish are biting.

I started life as a PK,( Preachers Kid) in the American Baptist Church, singing in the
choir. I developed an early passion for Theater and Music and followed that passion
throughout high school and college, performing at any chance.
Somehow I was able to balance all the performing with athletics, becoming an All
American Swimmer, which provided the scholarships to fund my college education.
I attended Temple University in Philadelphia PA, and completed my BFA at the
University of Montana in Missoula MT.
The Northwest proved to be fertile ground for a career and I count myself as one of
the fortunate few who could actually make a living in the arts. I performed with nearly
all the professional theaters in the region, including the Seattle Repertory Theater,
Seattle Children's Theater, Tacoma Actors Guild and Portland Repertory Theater. I
have also performed in more commercials, industrial training films and voice overs
than I can remember.
I also have several television and film credits both in front of the camera and in
technical support.; Project development for children's television programs, screen
writing, boom operator, stand in, grip, ...The list goes on.

Life in Montana (ACT TWO)
What Does an Actor/Singer do in Montana? Anything he can. Fortunately , a life in
the theater gives one a diverse range of skills and interests, I taught Theater at
Rocky Mountain College, laid a lot of brick and tile, and became a Massage therapist,
performing when I could, and discovered a talent for recording and mixing music. In
2003, I released 2 CDs of my own music and have been at it ever since.
